Senior Civil Designer, Project Manager for Civil Site Design Since joining Lescure Engineers, Inc. in 2004, Ms. Wendle has successfully assumed project management duties. She had developed long-standing collaborative relationships with local architects and construction managers and contractors. She has demonstrated ability to coordinate complex projects involving multiple agency permits, critical timelines and challenging multi-phase scope and budget accountability.
Ms. Wendle, working with Peter J. Lescure, PE, prepared improvement plans for the Graton Community Services District wastewater facility upgrade. The plans, including flood walls and gates, construction access road and tertiary treatment equipment pads, have been permitted for construction by Sonoma County PRMD. She coordinated the design process with structural and geotechnical consultants. She accompanied Sonoma County and California Fish & Game officials to site for permitting purposes. Ms. Wendle was responsible for preparation of construction cost estimates and coordination with with FEMA /OES to secure funding for flooding mitigation and prevention improvements. In collaboration with the architect, prepared site development plans for The Napa Valley Reserve, an estate winery in St. Helena. The site plan was designed with an emphasis on preservation of heritage oaks. Ms. Wende produced hydrologic and hydraulic calculations and prepared grading and drainage plans. She designed fire protection piping, sanitary sewer and stormdrains. She also prepared the electrical utilities plan which included record plans of existing utilities and as well as improvements to be constructed.
As an employee of Summit Engineering, Inc. for nearly 20 years beginning in 1984, Ms. Wendle provided CAD drafting for master planning maps and designed rough and final grading, utility and facilities layout plans and construction details for numerous commercial and industrial projects. She provided extensive technical support for grading and drainage design of new roads and drilling pads at The Geysers including Coldwater Creek Road and the bridge at Kelsey Creek.
Ms. Wendle was the primary civil designer for the prestigious Castillo de Amorosa in Calistoga. She designed the left turn lane from State Highway 128, along with the parking and access plan. Ms. Wendle managed the application to CalTrans for the encroachment permit, including FACT Sheet documentation, as well as coordinated the response to comments. She provided oversight of additional permit applications to Army Corps of Engineers, National Marine Fisheries and Fish and Game. Ms. Wendle coordinated directly with architect, owner, contractor, surveyor, arborist and other consultants. |
