Senior Project Engineer
for Civil, Water & Wastewater Projects
Jeffrey S. Loe, P.E. joined the staff of Lescure Engineers as an Engineer-In-Training in 1991. He is currently Senior Project Engineer and Project Manager. Mr. Loe is experienced in many aspects of civil engineering and is an expert in onsite wastewater dispersal system design.
Mr. Loe has managed numerous projects involving feasibility studies and design of many sewer collection, storm water and water distribution systems, grading, drainage and erosion control plans and plans for new roadways and roadway rehabilitations. He has worked with both public and private clients on a wide variety municipal, residential, commercial and agricultural development projects. He is proficient in computer applications for project management, engineering design, computer aided design and drafting, hydrology and hydraulic design, specification writing and construction cost estimating. He is highly experienced in directing the efforts of geotechnical consultants and surveyors.
Mr. Loe was the primary design engineer for the Odd Fellows Wastewater Management Project, a CELSOC Engineering Excellence Award winning project in 2002. He presented a paper on the technologies utilized in this project at the National Onsite Wastewater Recycling Association (NOWRA) convention in September 2002.
Prior to his employment at Lescure Engineers, Mr. Loe was employed by the Bureau of Land Management in Arcata, California as hydrologic technician for a watershed rehabilitation project. He mapped active and potential erosion problems and recommended treatment prescriptions including removal or reinstallation of culverts, re-grading, bank revetment and removal of log skid trails. He also worked for the U.S. Indian Health Service in Pinetop, Arizona where he assisted in design, review and implementation of water and wastewater related projects including radio telemetry pump controls, regional sewer upgrade, electrical pump control panels, chlorine disinfection, sewage lagoon expansion and land disposal of treated wastewater. He also managed a small community water system in Arcata, California.
Mr. Loe is a California Registered Civil Engineer, C57425 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Resouraces Engineering from Humboldt University, Arcata California, with an emphasis on water quality and wastewater treatment. Mr. Loe is a member of the Sonoma County Land Use Advisory Panel, the California Environmental Health Association and the California Onsite Wastewater Association. He is currently enrolled in the Green Building Professional Certificate Program sponsored by the California Association of Green Builders.
