Senior Land Surveyor, Project Manager
Gregory (Greg) Logan joined the staff of Lescure Engineers in 2009 after a long career as project manager, production supervisor, and CAD and network manager for Carlile • Macy and its predecessor firms, Carlile Associates and Mitchell & Heryford. He has more than 34 years of experience in the surveying, engineering, and mapping industry. He is project manager for survey projects associated with engineering design, boundary, topographic mapping, and ALTA surveys.
Mr. Logan is recognized locally as an expert with AutoCAD 2000, Land Development Desktop, and CAD overlay. He served as an adjunct instructor at Santa Rosa Junior College, where he taught advanced AutoCAD, engineering, and mapping applications for three years through the Applied Technology Department.
His earlier experience in the survey profession was in the northwest states of Idaho, Washington, Oregon, Montana, and Wyoming. While chief of surveys and company supervisor for Cuddy Surveying in northern Idaho, he coordinated cadastral, topographic, ALTA, and construction surveys in the greater northwest area. His extensive experience also includes several years of performing dependent re-surveys of sectionalized land under contract with the National Forest Service, Corp of Engineers, and Idaho State Lands Department.
Mr. Logan holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Geography / Cartography, Fresno State University and an Associates of Arts in Business Administration, Fresno City College. He is a licensed professional land surveyor in the State of California (PLS 5759) and in the State of Idaho.
He is a member of the American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC) of California, the California Land Surveyors Association (CLSA) (past chapter president) and the North Bay Civil/Sig User Group. He is also a volunteer with Sonoma County Regional Parks.
